Art has always been a part of melody’s life. She uses an array of mixed mediums like acrylics paints, fabrics, glass, plaster molding materials, and sand to create unique artwork. She took a different career path and became a personal trainer/fitness coach her passion for art never went away. After more than 15 years of not creating any painting, Mel decided three years ago to pick up a paint brush to see if she still has the ability to create a piece she’ll love. With this God given talent, she landed her first commissioned work in 2020. She was encouraged her first commissioned and decided to pursue painting professional. She has done many more COMMISSIONED PIECES with many more in the pipeline. Mel’s showcased her artwork in the APPLE GALLERY IN STOKE COUNTY, MILTON RHODES CENTER FOR THE ARTS, CITY HALL in Winston Salem, BRYCE A STUART MUNICIPAL BUILDING, in Winston Salem.
